Welcome to Old Path
We are a local New Testament church that is laboring to reach the San Antonio and surrounding areas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday morning services begin at 11:00 AM. The afternoon service begins at 2:00 PM. On Thursday we meet for prayer at 6:30 PM and preaching at 7:00 PM.
Old Path Baptist Church is a family-integrated church. Children of all ages are welcome in our services. A mother/baby room is provided for children who need to be taken out of the service for any reason.

Our Pastor
Pastor Manly Perry
Michael Manly Perry Jr. grew up in rural northeastern North Carolina and was led to Christ at the Colerain Baptist Church as a senior in high school. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, where he met his wife Crystal, who also served in the Navy. Crystal was instrumental in getting Manly involved in church, and for the remainder of his 20-year Navy career, Bro. Manly faithfully served in various Baptist churches as a bus captain, Sunday school teacher, soul-winning team leader, and eventually a deacon.
Though Bro. Manly is not from Texas as his wife Crystal is, he got to the great State of Texas just as quick as he could. He recognized San Antonio’s booming economy and growing population as a great place to finally plant roots, raise a family, and build a church for the glory of God.
Brother Manly received his ordination in 2010. His desire is to be used of the Lord to start a church the old-fashioned way of winning souls door-to-door and house-to-house in this great Alamo City where freedom and liberty have long been defended.

What We Believe
Doctrinal Statement
- We believe that the King James Bible is the inspired/preserved word of God without error.
- We believe in the Trinity. We believe that God is manifested in three separate persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. Being born again by believing (trusting) in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only requirement for salvation.
- We reject dispensationalism and believe that salvation always has been and always will be by grace through faith.
- We believe in the eternal security of the believer (once saved, always saved).
- We believe that the unsaved will spend eternity in torment in a literal hell.
- We believe that Jesus is God, and that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary.
- We believe that the bloody death of Jesus Christ on the cross fully atoned for the sins of mankind.
- We reject the teaching of Calvinism and believe that God wants everyone to be saved.
- We believe that life begins at conception (fertilization) and reject all forms of abortion including surgical abortion, “morning-after” pills, birth control pills, and all other processes that end life after conception.
- We oppose worldliness, modernism, and liberalism.
- We believe that sodomy and transgenderism is a sin and an abomination before God!
